Mark your calendars for our annual golf tournament on Friday, October 21, 2011 which is the day before the Tennessee game. 

 

Proceeds to chapter scholarship fund for awards to local high school seniors planning to attend the university of alabama.

The scholarships were awarded at the chapter’s annual meeting held on Thursday, June 9 with UA President Robert E. Witt as our featured speaker.  Congratulations recipients!

Your dues help support the alumni chapter scholarship program which:

·         this year awarded 13 scholarships for over $34,000, and

·         since 1981, has awarded 206 scholarships for over $453,000.

 

You do not have to be an Alabama graduate to join the chapter; we invite parents of UA students and friends of the University to join us.

 

We have several events that will be coming up this year:

·         football viewing parties (dates, times and place TBA)

·         annual golf tournament coming up on Friday, October 21

The Montgomery-Lowndes County Chapter Scholarship program consists of the following scholarships that are awarded each year to incoming freshmen. 

  

The awards are based on grades, test scores, extracurricular activities in school and in the community.  Values of the scholarships vary up to in-state tuition for one academic year.
